Hauswerks - The Reed Dance (Original Mix) [Twisted Fusion]

ammmmm back mo fo's, for another, epic journey, in the unknown realms, of rhythm and bass!!, you know, i'll always be here for you, you know, we should never be afraid, to force a positive change upon the world, just like, "the reed dance", (Umhlanga, or Reed Dance ceremony, is an annual Swazi and Zulu event. In Swaziland, tens of thousands of unmarried and childless Swazi girls, and women travel from the various chiefdom's, to the Ludzidzini Royal Village, to participate in the eight-day event, everyone loves a wedding its good reason to party!, Umhlanga was created in the 1940s in Swaziland under the rule of Sobhuza II, and is an adaptation of the much older Umcwasho ceremony. The reed dance continues to be practised today in Swaziland. In South Africa, the reed dance was introduced in 1991 by Goodwill Zwelithini, the current King of the Zulus. The dance in South Africa takes place in Nongoma, a royal kraal of the Zulu king), the video's of the traditional ceremony, was removed by google and YouTube as for being age inappropriate, but they didn't back down, against google and youtube, (good for you), The reed dance videos were once classified, as age-restricted content by Youtube, which angered the users, who had uploaded them. Lazi Dlamini, the head of TV Yabantu, an online video production company, that aims to produce content that, protects, preserves and restores African values, (it's a good thing, but why not all traditional values, the world is a vast place, full of many culturally rich, and diverse peoples, it is our differences, that make the world a more beautiful place, and we should celebrate them, Working with more than 200 cultural groupings across the country, and in neighbouring Swaziland and South Africa, Dlamini organised a series of protests, against Google to force them to rethink their position. At last, YouTube apologized, and allowed the showing of bonafide, African traditional videos , Google says it has lifted the restriction on the videos, that were age-restricted as it is not its policy to restrict nudity, in such instances where it is culturally or traditionally appropriate. (abasebenzi abasebenza kahle), if you plant a garden, do you plant all the same plants, so it is uniform, and looks all the same?, No you don't, no one does, it is the subtle difference in beauty, between the grass and blooms, the contrast of colour and form, that brings joy to the eyes, and happiness to the heart as, standardz, hahahahahaha, :) #edio
